President Joe Biden publicly recognized his seventh grandchild, a little girl fathered by his son Hunter with Lunden Roberts, a woman from Arkansas, for the first time on Friday. The child was born in 2018.

Biden said in his statement, “Hunter, our son, along with Lunden, the mother of Navy, are collectively nurturing a relationship that will best serve the interests of their daughter, while striving to maintain her privacy to the maximum extent possible in the future.” This was the first time he mentioned the child.
