Jonathan Majors, the actor from movies like “Creed III” and “Ant-Man and The Wasp:Quantumania”, was arrested on Saturday in New York City. He was charged with strangulation, assault and harassment because of an argument he had with a 30-year-old woman. Police were sent to her apartment in Chelsea after someone called 911.

The police said that a 33-year-old man was arrested after somebody told them they had been attacked. The person wasn’t seriously hurt, but did get some injuries to their head and neck and got taken to a hospital. This happened on Saturday night and the same night, the police let the person go. Someone spoke for the arrested man to say he hadn’t done anything wrong.

Someone representing the actor said in an email to the AP news: “He has done nothing wrong. We want to prove him innocent and clear this up.”

The actor’s name is Majors and he is becoming very famous in Hollywood. Following his movie “The Last Black Man in San Francisco” in 2019, he has been in other important films such as “Da 5 Bloods”, “The Harder They Fall” and “Devotion”. He even stars recently in a movie showing at the Sundance Film Festival called “Magazine Dreams” which will be released later this December.
